We have so many sweet memories of Joan. She was very inquisitive (of mind and body) - needing no encouragement to look at a new development or holiday home or whatever with no interest in buying - just to look at the 'latest' new things in awe. She and Paul found our house! She loved simple walks and would always be determined to get to the end. I remember one occasion where we were at the top of the sand dunes, and we had to get off to get back. Down she went, Feet first on her bottom - enjoying every second of it. Must get that tape out :) She loved simple food - a Sunday Roast - while out on holiday, and cooked the same. We were never allowed to leave hungry - if fact that was not possible - there was always plenty of food. I remember telling her stories, and watching her face show a mixture of disbelief and wondering as to whether it was all made up. They were all true, and we always had a laugh after. Such a lovely unassuming lady who would chat with everybody.
